This role will support a variety of environmental projects across remediation, infrastructure, property development, and waste — combining field-based environmental support with consulting and regulatory compliance expertise.

You’ll work closely with our project managers, clients, and delivery teams to identify risks, implement environmental controls, and ensure our projects not only meet but exceed regulatory and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide environmental support and technical advice across planning, delivery, and close-out phases

  • Develop and implement Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP), subplans, and monitoring programs

  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and environmental monitoring (dust, noise, water, waste, etc.)

  • Assist with environmental impact assessments and regulatory approvals (REF, SSD, EPA licensing)

  • Prepare environmental documentation, reports, and compliance registers

  • Support stakeholder engagement and interface with government authorities and auditors

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental legislation, standards, and industry best practice

About You
  • 2–5+ years' experience in an environmental advisor, consultant, or scientist role (consulting or contracting background welcome)

  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline

  • Practical understanding of NSW and Commonwealth environmental regulations

  • Experience in site-based environmental compliance (remediation, infrastructure, civil or construction projects)

  • Strong report writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently or in small teams

  • White Card and current driver's licence required

  • Additional certifications (e.g. CPESC, CEnvP) will be highly regarded
